    Hi!

I have a problem that I dont know how to solve!

I have a server with cPanel and hosting one Facebook application. My log is getting filled with errors like this

[Sat Jan 01 15:28:11 2011] [error] [client 69.63.189.251] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\
[Sat Jan 01 15:28:09 2011] [error] [client 66.220.146.251] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\
[Sat Jan 01 15:28:09 2011] [error] [client 66.220.158.247] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\

[Sat Jan 01 15:28:06 2011] [error] [client 66.220.158.247] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\
[Sat Jan 01 15:28:06 2011] [error] [client 66.220.158.248] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\
[Sat Jan 01 15:28:06 2011] [error] [client 66.220.158.251] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\
[Sat Jan 01 15:28:06 2011] [error] [client 66.220.146.245] File does not exist: /home/phrases/public_html/Phrases4Fun/\\"http:\\

I see that he can't find \\"http:\\ but nothing else. No line number, no referrer...nothing. All the IP addresses are Facebooks, so no help there.

Is there something I can do to find out in what moment the log is written? What is trigering the log? This is a big problem for me because I receive lots of this errors in a second and the server is going nuts.

    Thanks for your help

This does not appear to be a cPanel issue. You may find more help on the Facebook Developers forum.

If the server is going nuts over this you might want to disable it until you sort it out.

Hi. Thanks for the answer. I can imagine that it's not cPanel problem but I am starting to feel desperate about not having a clue what to do.

I was looking in the Apache Access Log I found

    69.63.190.248 - - [02/Jan/2011:13:16:46 -0600] "POST /my_folder/%5C%22http:%5C/%5C/my_domain.com%5C/my_folder%5C/%5C/images%5C/invite.png%5C%22 HTTP/1.1" 404 94 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; es-ES; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)"

and similar errors, all from 69.63.190.248 (Facebook) and all for some images that exist but somehow someone can't find it.

Does anyone has some idea what is going on???
