It can't create the _private directory (related to Frontpage) because you've run out of disk space. Get results from the above command and paste it here.

you could run find / -user username -type f -exec du -hs {} \; (as root from a ssh shell prompt)

to run du -hs on any files anywhere in the system which are owned by username

Alternatively you could run repquota -a|grep username (or w/o the grep to get description for the various fields depending on how your system is partioned you will get a entry for partition/drive (.e.g /etc /usr /var etc) quota is enabled on

have a look @ http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?threadid=9605 as well if you have not already done so

    TLP,

Did you ever get an absolute solution on this problem? I'm having a similar problem that effects about 20 users.

I did the search for UID, nothing strange found.
Turned quoatas off, on then ran fixquota, still no luck.

In the words of tlp, "This is nuts"!

Any chance of getting this corrected Cpanel techs? It sucks paying so much money for this software and having bugs like this in it.

    InternetPEI,

Do yourself a favor and run this command from the root '/' directory:

    find * -user insertusernamehere

This'll show you everything 'owned' by that user, which will allow you to track down the files that are inappropriately assigned to this userid.

The quota system isn't cpanel, it's just how quotas work on linux. Most likely there's some untarred archive with the wrong userid on the files somewhere.
