Strange dual resolution of a domain name

This guy used to host with us
nycitycommuter.com

But as of a week ago he is with another company
but
nycitycommuter.com resolves to
216.239.129.163
and
www.nycitycommuter.com resolved to
66.96.228.70 (an IP of mine)

I have terminated him and no files of his remain on my server, any idea why www.nycitycommuter.com still goes to my ip?

This isn't a cPanel issue, it's an issue with your ISP.

Nothing strange about the way DNS propagates. www and without www are treated like different domains when it comes to DNS servers looking for a updated IP address. DNS is a distributed service in a way. DNS servers learn from each other. AOHell is a hunk of CRAP!!! especially when it comes to DNS issues. Dump AOHELL and run!

It just needs to propogate on your isp. AOL could take days for that to happen.
