    Hi,

    The setup on the server is PHP 4.3.2 CPanel: 8.4.0-STABLE 92 RH7.3

    Zend optimizer stopped working on the server at some stage, not sure when or why. It was still installed but not showing up in phpinfo oand was not working. I tried installing zend optimizer via the /scripts/installzendopt and via a manual install. The install gave no errors but did not work.

    A script I was using was saying there was a problem with line 231 on php.ini The line was:
    "\path1;\path2"

    In this section:
    ; Paths and Directories ;
    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
    include_path = ".:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php" ;
    "\path1;\path2"
    doc_root = ; the root of the php pages, used only if nonempty
    user_dir = ; the directory under which php opens the script usin$
    extension_dir = ./ ; directory in which the loadable extensions (modules) reside
    enable_dl = On

    This line was not in the php.ini file on another server, so I decided to delete it and see what happens. When I deleted the line, zend optimizer reappeared in the phpinfo file and started working fine. However, the following errors started showing up on loads of php files:

    Warning: main(): stream does not support seeking

    Obviously not a good solution so I but the line back into the php.ini file and the errors disappeared but so did Zend Optimizer. :(

    Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on here?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    :D
