I had cPanel 10 / WHM on my server previously and everything was working fine for my accounts and my client accounts. Well, undoubtably my server had the auto upgrade to newest stable release turned on and one night, I had cPanel v11. Everything looked good but when anyone logs into webmail, cpanel, statistics, etc now - they get http://server.myhostingcompany.com/cpanel/redtrix/etc/etc/ or http://www.server.myhostingcompany.com/webmail/2082/blah/etc instead of http://www.theirdomain.com/blah/blah?/etc

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this? I couldn't find a previously discussed thread because I couldnt think of what keywords to use.

Also - is there a way to turn off the automatic cpanel upgrade feature, while leaving the scipt upgrades/patches/fixes on?

Thanks for your help!

You might want to go thru your settings thoughout your WHM and check everything out to make sure its setup as you want.

First part of your question should be answered for you in Tweak Settings, Second part under Update Config. First box on left, top of WHM.

cPanel 11 is not yet in STABLE so I am confused how you are running cPanel 11 in STABLE.

You can disable cPanel's automatic updates while keeping server and softare upgrades automatic by going to WHM -> Server Configuration -> Update Config. Change your cPanel/WHM upgrade settings from an option for automatic to an option for manual. You will then be able to upgrade cPanel/WHM manually by going to WHM -> cPanel -> Upgrade to Latest Version

In WHM -> Server Configuration -> Tweak settings is "Hostname" selected for either: "When visiting /cpanel or /whm or /webmail WITHOUT SSL, you can choose to redirect to:" or "When visiting /cpanel or /whm or /webmail with SSL, you can choose to redirect to:"? That would explain why they're now going to your hostname instead of their domain name. You can change the option to "Origin Domain Name" if you desire.

Thanks guys - both of your suggestions put me in the right place. Ok, so I thought 11 was stable... I guess not. After looking at this setting, there was nothing selected. I selected manual. Thanks again for the quick and informative responses.
