    Hi,

I just got an email from a client about his account quota. Upon investigation, I noticed that a few of his email accounts where overflowing (close to a gig in one) with email. Each of these email accounts were set up to forward to a remote email address. My understanding is that a forwarder would just forward the email and not leave a copy on the local server. Is that correct (obviously not in this case, but maybe something is broke)?

If the default behaviour is to forward and also keep a copy in the forwarding email account, is there a way to force exim not to keep a local copy?

    Thanks!

Glad you found the answer ;) it is an exim quirk, but once discovered you don't forget about it.
