Hi. I have a vded and am using suphp. If I switch to fcgi will my scripts still run?

Is there anything else I need to do?

I want to switch because if I upload say Feng office and goto install it I get a 500 error because of permissions. If I upload it on an fcgi server I don't. Maybe we can solve that first.

I have 8 domains on the server.

    Thanks.

    Hello :)

FCGI is only recommended for advanced system administrators who understand how to modify the performance of mod_fcgid. This is documented here:

    Apache PHP Request Handling

What's the output to /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when you receive the "500" error message in your websites?

    Thank you.
