    Hi,

I had created three sub domains support, cms and demo under one domain. Although the sub-domain path displayed public_html/support, while browsing support.domainname.ext it showed file under public_html.

In order to resolve this problem I had deleted all the sub domains. While recreating the subdomain it throws an error " Error from domain wrapper: Domain already exists, it was not added.: support.domainname.com"

I am not are the sub domain enteries like for any domain hosted an entry is created under /etc/localdomains......

Can anyone help has to how do I go about resolving this problem it would indeed be of great assistances.

    Thank you All :)

    Answer

    Hi All,

    FINALLY i found a solution.

I searched a little bit and found a method to solve this problem.

    1. Remove domain.com from /var/cpanel/users/cpanel-username

    3. Run /scripts/updateuserdomains as root user on the server because you changed the above file manually, this will create adjusted cache files

    2. Remove /var/named/domain.com.db if the file exists (it doesn’t always)

    3. Remove the virtualhost for domain.com on /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

    4. Remove domain.com from /etc/named.conf

Now you can add the domain back on in cPanel with no problems.
