Sub domain not found error

    Hi

    i have created one sub domain as samplestore.mydomain.com

    but when i try to open that is shows error as dns not found


    Any one help out

    Hello Syed,

    Are you using nameservers controlled by that cPanel server?
    If no, then you have to manually add the A Record to your DNS provider, example if you are using your registrar's nameservers, you have to update the host records at your registrar.
    If yes, you might need to give it some time to update, this is a good site to use: Global DNS Propagation Checker - What's My DNS? - If ALL show a red X, then its a good indication that you are not using nameservers that are controlled by that cPanel server.

    Hello,

    The previous post is correct. This generally happens when the DNS for the parent domain name is handled on a remote server, and thus you have to setup the "A" record for the subdomain at the remote DNS host.
