Sub domain redirection problem

Hi people,

I recently tried to setup sub domains for my site www.mysite.com(example url) but there seems to be a problem with the ip resolving.

I went to the sub domain column or section in Cpanel to setup sub domains subdomain1.mysite.com and subdomain2.mysite.com to point to http://www.mysite.com/subdomain1 and http://www.mysite.com/subdomain2 respectively but its been 4 days and i still do not see the ip resolving. What could be the problem?

My cpanel account for the site is located on a secondary server ip address, and the dns servers used for the site is the site's primary and next primary ip address. Could this be the problem?

I would appreciate any help or advice given.

If you have root access check the zone for the domain and make sure that the subdomain IP is correct. Without root access have your hosting company check the zone.
