For the last 3 days, any new sub domains I set up to be redirected to a domain name are not working. When setting up the sub domain, cPanel assigns it the wrong IP address. I have to go in and manually change ithe IP in DNS FUNCTIONS -> Edit DNS Zone in WHM. But the redirect is still not working. The .htaccess file is the same as all the other redirects that work correctly:

    WORKING CORRECTLY (set up earlier)
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^$ [OR]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^$
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ [R=301,L]
NOT WORKING CORRECTLY (set up w/in the last 3 days)
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^$ [OR]
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^$
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ [R=301,L]
I was using the STABLE release of WHM but upgraded to RELEASE to try and solve this problem. No luck. I also tried /scripts/fixnamedviews /scripts/fixeverything, cleaning up DNS, restarting NAMED and BIND and rebooting the server.

Any ideas or do I need to open a support ticket?
