Subdomain as the main account - pointing "A" record from Google Domains - Not Working, Please Help!

Hello,

So I am trying to set up a subdomain website, our main website is currently being hosted on Squarespace but our domain is being hosted on Google Domains.

This is how I created it,

Google Domains – Chose Domain – Edit DNS – Customize Resource Records – Added "A" record as sub.domain.com points to IP xx.x.xx.xxx

WHM – Create Account – Domain: sub.domain.com (the rest was default)

I gave this about 3 - 4 hours to propagate, when I created it and visited the website I saw the /index which gave me the thought that it worked. Now I am receiving this error code; server IP address could not be found.

Can you help me resolve this?

Hello,

Try using the "ping" command from the computer you are accessing the domain name from to verify it resolves to the correct IP address. Also, you may want to see if clearing your browser and DNS cache help:
