    Hello,

I have a client who would like their subdomain to point to a different DNS.

I followed the instructions provided by this article, but it did not work:
Delegate Subdomain to a Different Nameserver (cPanel) [Wiki] | NDCHost

I am having difficulty finding any further information on this. Is this possible with WHM 11.52.1 (build 3)?

    Thanks,

I understand that we can point directly to a sever's IP with an A name record, but this is not what the client wants.

They would like to set the subdomain to different nameservers (ns1, ns2, ns3), so that they can manage the DNS for this subdomain elsewhere.

    Thanks,

    Hello :)

There's no native support for configuring separate name servers for a subdomain through cPanel. The domain registrar of this domain name may allow this type of configuration, but you would have to consult with the individual registrar to see if it's a feature they offer.

    Thank you.
