Can you login via an FTP client? If not, try using the username@domain.tld (leaving out the subdomain) as your login.

    ftp access

I have the same problem after upgrade to WHM 9.9.8 cPanel 9.9.8-C66.

No ftp access using either ace ftp or ws_ftp clients. I can create ftp accounts using whm with no apparent errors and change the password etc. but no Joy...!

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks, Larry G

the format username@domain.com that did work, now does not work...

formerly username@subdomain.com worked also but not now...?

the ftp server ftp.domain.com that used to work still answers, but refuses to authenticate... like I was using the wrong password or username...

    got me...
