subdomain, no go - odd problem

I have a subdomain that just shows page not found.

I went into the cpanel user file, found a few duplicate dns lines, removed them and
ran updateuserdomains, restarted cpanel. Still does not work

I confirmed entry in httpd.conf and named.conf (no duplicates).

db file is also in /var/named as well

I don't know what else to do.

dnsstuff shows dns just fine, proper output
