I have a question for which I will appreciate any help.

    a) I have a domain example.com which is currently hosted on Namecheap Servers (both domain and hosting). Within the host server I have two wordpress installations one is example.com and second is in a blog subfolder named blog.example.com.

    b) I want to point the main domain to another hosting server while pointing the sub-domain to Namecheap. The other server also uses CPANEL.

    c) I understand that as soon as I point the main domain away from the Namecheap, I will not be able to do any redirects from Namecheap CPANEL or Dashboard. How do I go about achieving this aim.

If some links can be shared where some screenshots of the process are shown, it will be helpful.

Thanks for your assistance in advance.

    Hello,

You'd simply ensure the "A" record for the subdomain points to the IP address of the Namecheap server wherever the DNS for the domain name is configured.

    Thank you.
