    hi,

A potential customer is asking me if it is possible to change where subdomains point to, and if it is possible to change the docroot. I am thinking no, as I have no idea the effects on cpanel if I do so. Is there a way to do one or both of things, though?

    Thanks,
    Brandon

    Hello,

Of course it is possible via apache, but my issue is, how iwll this affect CPanel, if at all? It may not, but I am guessing it would. I found another thread on this, and I think the OP said there was a problem, though I am not positive as the english was quite broken.

    Go on, have a guess
It should be no problem at all to change the DocumentRoot in httpd.conf for the subdomain. We do the same, and for add-on domains for clients without problems.
