subdomain redirection

    Hi there,

    How to redirect my subdomain to an ip address. is it possible ?
    any help would be highly appreciated.

    To do this, do not create a subdomain in Cpanel like you might normally do. Instead go to the DNS ZONE for that domain and add subdomain in as an A record and put the Ip address it will go to. IE:

    subdomain 14400 A 111.111.111.111

    Note: only put the name of the subdomain, do not put subdomain.domain.com or else it will not work properly

    or if you are not hosting yourself then just email your hoster and tell them to want sub.yourdomain.com to redirect to whatever.
