Subdomain to main

    You could move the files to /home/user/public_html location, but then you might have to change paths for phpBB in order to get it working as indicated in the previously provided link.

    The easier option is probably to change the .htaccess file in /home/user/public_html location to have that redirect to your subdomain when people hit the main domain:

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?mysitename.com$
    RewriteRule ^(/)?$ forum [L]
    Replace mysitename.com with your actual domain name. Replace forum with the subfolder name if it isn't actually forum.
