I have a customer that wants me to set them up a subdomain that points to a different server.

For example, www.mydomain.com will be on my server and sub.mydomain.com will be running on another server.

I have no control over the server that the subdomain will point to (it is in a different location from my server). Is there anyway this can be done?

    Hi webserveone,

You can redirect the subdomain to another domain. Follow up this command in the .htaccess file in the home directory of that domain.

    redirect 302 www.mydomain.com sub.mydomain.com

Hope this will help you to solve the problem.

    Regards,:)
