    Hey,

I have a problem with my cPanel but my provider could not understand what I say::(

My problem is that when I make a subdomain under cPanel, its point to public_html and not to public_html/subdomain.

What should I modify to create folder as subdomain name in public_html and every subdomain should be pointed to its own folder? or what my provider should modify or where?

    Thanks in advance,

    Andrew

So what you want to do is have every subdomain you create under your cPanel account point to its own directory?

In cPanel 11 with the X3 theme, when you are creating a subdomain there should be a field for where the sub-domain's contents should be stored. You can use public_html/subdomain or whatever folder name you desire in this field. If you are not seeing this field, please ask your web hosting provider to upgrade to cPanel 11 and/or switch you to the X3 theme.

    Hey,

Yes, if I siwtch to x3, I can definie the directory of the subdomain.

I had use cPanel 11 and x and x2 theme automatically creates own directoryx to each subdomains.

This provider also use cPanel 11 so I dont know why every subdomans to public_html

If you are defining the directory of the subdomain to be something other than public_html and for some reason that setting is being ignored, you should make your web hosting provider aware of this problem so they can take appropriate action.

After speaking with QA, if you are still experiencing these issues on EDGE or CURRENT with X/X2, please submit a support ticket to your licensing provider as this may be a local issue with your specific server rather than our software.
