So in the SSL/TLS Status section, it shows that example.com and www.example.com certificate status has been validated. However, the mail.example.com, cpanel.example.com, and all other sub-domains are not covered by the installed certificate. My question is: is it safe to keep them without a certificate? How does it affect the security of my website, domain, and server in general?

Hey there! Do you have DNS records setup for those additional subdomains? If not, they wouldn't get covered by the cPanel SSL tools. cPanel does create those DNS Records locally, but if your DNS is external, such as through your hosting provider or through a tool like Cloudflare, you'd need to ensure those records are created manually.

There's no reason you are required to have them, but some users find them convenient.

Let me know if that clears things up!
