i'm currently using wildcard subdomains which pointed to main domain (i use only one source code in the main domain which can handle the subdomains).

someone told me to copy source code in each subdomain to reduce access to the main domain because over time the site becomes slower, he said also Exp: one click of a button for 200 or 300 Internet users, the requests will enter an execution spool which causes slow response from the client.

i don't know if this true or not ! and i have to choose only between those two solutions, can you tell me please and thanks.

Hey there! I don't see why it would matter or why the configuration would be slower. Apache will serve the content as best it can, no matter how the directory structure is organized. Apache doesn't care whether it serves content from /home/username/public_html or /home/username/public_html/subdirectory, which is the typical setup for a subdomain. If you are getting good results with your current system, I would not try changing that configuration on a production system, although you might find it worth trying on a test machine if you really want to see if you can obtain different results.
