    Hello,
We have this little trouble where the folder like /images, which do not have any index are directly accessible by the visitors. What is the best way to prohibit the direct access to this folders?

For example : domain.com/images lists all the images uploaded in there when we want to restrict the access.

    Find: Directory “/” Options

Make sure "Indexes" is checked. (All marked default, should be checked) scroll down and save and Rebuild.

That should be what you seek I believe. :)

    Hi Infopro,
Thank you for your quick reply. I followed the steps you mentioned, however, I could see all the "default" options were checked already. Anyway, I un-checked and re-checked them and built the apache again.

However, the issue is still not fixed. If I open client's domain.com/images, I could still see all the images listed there instead of a forbidden page.

Apparently I had to UN-check indexes so that visitors can not see the items in that dir. Thanks for the clue :D
