I have sucessfully managed to invtall svn on my server and have setup a few repositories, but I am having a problem with them.

    SVN List works fine.

Creating a folder on SVN works.

Commiting a file doesn't work - I get error - Unable to access requested svn filesystem

But if I commit a file through SSH, then downloading it, edit it, I can then commit it fine.

So it seems everything works except for the inital import via web_dav.

Anyone have any ideas what might be wrong or anything I can check or try?

I found for web_dav_svn to work, the entire respository needed to be owned by nobody:nobody. Once it was everything seemed to work fine for me.

Already owned by nobody:nobody and still gives

    Adding testing.txt
    svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/screenshot-sender/testing.txt'
svn: Could not open the requested SVN filesystem
