    Hi there

There I was happily (well ..sort of ...like everyone) ... when all of a sudden, I was unable to do the following:

    send / receive e-mails
    access cpanelX
    or
    look at my website

I am able to still view the website from linked banners and directories,
    but
    not from my own computer.

Any idea what might have caused this.

I could probably tweak things right if I could access CpanelX ... but this I cannot do !

    Regards from sunny Spain

I assumed you are trying to use IE or an explorer to access your site?

Whats the error you are getting?

Did you check that your IP is not banned by the server? Try pinging your site from your local computer and see if it returns an a PINGABLE IP address.

There are so many possibilities whenever such an error occur.

    Hi brendanrtg

Thank you for your response. :)

The message is 'Server not found'.

You'll have to help me out on the meaning of 'pingable IP ...? That's a new term for me.

Not banned, I think, as payment is always on time, and have had CPanel for about 6 years now

We get a lot of visitors to the site ..... could this be due to Bandwidth exceeded ... it's something that could cause this. I just find it odd that, if band width is the problem, why I have lost the e-mail facility.

Once again, thanks foryour response. :)
