Hello everyone, so recently I got my website and I have been trying to download some things to it via SSH. However whenever I try to use the command sudo it gives me this:

Code:
sudo: effective uid is not 0, is sudo installed setuid root?
Also whenever I try to use apt it just gives me this:

Code:
-jailshell: apt-get: command not found
Any kind of help would be really appriciated!

Thanks, Splat

Do you actually have administrative privileges on this server?

Or are you just reading some random guide that tells you to run this, this, and this command to accomplish a specific task?

Hey there! It does look like the commands you're using may not be applicable to your environment, as previous users have mentioned. If you could let us know the specific software or tools you are trying to setup we can likely let you know if those will work in a cPanel/Yum environment or if there is an alternative available.
