    Hello,

We recently had trouble with one of our servers, basically everything was fine then one day all of a sudden suexec stopped working.

We tried everything to fix it:

    -Enable/disable suexec in cPanel
    -Recompile Apache

That didn't fix it, we did these several times with different options, no go. Now the problem we're facing is that some user is abusing the life out of the server using perl and we can't track the bugger since suexec is not working.

Is there any way to get suexec working again? Also if it helps, we don't have phpsuexec on this server it creates too many problems for php users.

    Thank you for your help!

If there is an error during the recompile of Apache w/suexec, then post the error here as well. Otherwise, I can only recommend opening a support ticket with us.
