An increasing number of companies support Jabber (Dreamhost, GTalk, etc...) and I think it would be a great idea to add a "Jabber" section in cPanel for customers to create Jabber accounts such as [email protected]. These Jabber users would be backed up with their contact lists so that if the customer migrates to a different web hosting company, he can restore his Jabber accounts and contact lists. I think ejabberd would be the Jabber server of choice. Let's be faster than Plesk to integrate Jabber into our control panel of choice
