    to the cpanel staff...

The redirect feature on the client side is great, but it fails to account for ssl enabled sites.

Many of our clients want to redirect their home pages http:// index.php to https:// index.php but since you have http hard coded into the script there is no way for them to do this, thus upping our support requests.

I hope that you will consider this and add the option for the 's' in the next upgrade.

    thank you

    Hello,

Please check your SSL certifcate installed properly, if its instlled then run this script : /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd startssl . If you still cant redirect then edit your .htaccess for the particular site to redirect (check for redirect rule)

    Thank You.
    Vivek.

also look into mod_rewrite which I believe to handle this sort of thing as well.

You likely won't get much from here you should use the feature request form for this sort of post.
