Suggestions learning web host managing

Does anyone have any suggestions as to some good resources that would help me learn more about the details of web host managing. I am considering joining a web host resellers program which uses cPanel, but after looking over the WHM demo on cPanel's site, there seem to be many things that I am totally ignorant of. It seems that cPanel is very automated, but my problem is I don't know the language it's written in, for instance I have no idea when it asks for a "binder" what it's taliking about, (that's just one item out of a list of things!) I have taught myself how to be a webmaster, but this is the other side of the coin!

Also, the reseller plan that I am looking into is set up so that each domain is entered manually by the web host manager as it is purchased, is this standard? Do any reseller programs offer automatic set up when the client purchases?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a reseller you dont get even half of the features on the WHM demo.

You get a small amount, mainly on controlling accounts and thats it. The script itself tell you most of what you need to know and the documentation can be quite handy.
