I caught a 2012 thread, to which I can no longer post, about the hazards of manually adding that feature to Exim:

    http://forums.cpanel.net/f43/exim-how-set-allow-local_part_suffix-properly-298271.html

Is there a 2014 update to this?

I tried to check the feature request page for the status, and only got the message that I didn't have privileges to access it. My host will not manually add any such commands not supported by cPanel, suggesting they'd merely be overridden.

The bounce handling of the XenForo 1.4 forum software requires allow local_part_suffix to be set in Exim to fully function.

Also if I try this manually, where in Exim would it be put? Or is support coming?

    Peace,
    Gene
