The link to open a ticket with cPanel, Inc via WHM is in WHM -> Support -> Support Center and then click "Contact cPanel."

    Cpanel support link

I found in the WHM how to enable the support center, the question is where i can find in the Cpanel link or image or something in order to click on it and be redirected to 3-rd party ticketing system which was configured in the WHM.

    Thanks.

In the newer builds of EDGE, CURRENT and RELEASE, it's WHM -> Support -> Configure Support Request Submissions.

You can pipe requests to a program, an email address or simply redirect users to a URL.

    support center

Ok thanks for the reply but it's not answering my question.

The question: after i have enabled support center in WHM , user logins to his cpanel. Where the user can find the link in the cPanel to get assistance (to be redirected to 3rd party ticketing system, which was configured in WHM).

    Thanks

In cPanel 11/X3 it's in the "Advanced" feature block.

In X/X2 it's "Submit Support Request" at the bottom-right of the block of icons.

    Support

    cPanel Version 11.8.0-RELEASE
    Theme x3

In WHM Features Manager the Support System Submission enabled
In WHM Support Request Configuration enabled to redirect to 3 party ticketing system

In Cpanel in advanced box nothing that have any connection to the support assistance.

    any ideas ?

In the feature list you are using for that account (if you didn't explicitly specify one, it's the "default" feature list), is Support System Submission checked? Additionally, in the "disabled" feature list, is it checked?

You can find the feature lists at WHM -> Packages -> Feature Manager

To recap: you installed/enabled this functionality, it is checked in the feature lists and is enabled but it still does not appear in the cPanel interface with the X3 theme and you're running one of our later builds.

I'm all out of suggestions at this point, I'd recommend submitting a support ticket regarding this issue. Feel free to reference this forum thread to save some time on their end with regards to troubleshooting.

I'm not sure why you would want to do that (you can just click the arrow at the top-right of that box to hide the extra information). As far as I know, you would need to copy the theme to a new theme and edit that copied theme to do that. However, this means that any improvements to the core X3 theme would not be reflected in your copy of the theme.

I am having this problem also. I have Submit Support Requests set up to email me support requests, I also have it enabled in the features for the users. But no matter what I do, there is NO support submission ICON showing up in the users' cPanel! Help!

    PS I am using CPanel 11.23.3-RELEASE 25623 Theme is x Release v2.6.0

I just moved servers and on my old server, the support icon showed up fine.

Tried using x3? The x theme is very much outdated, no longer maintained and will be fully deprecated in version 12.

Thanks for the quick reply. I changed to x3 and no difference - the Support Ticket icon does not disply in CPanel even though I have it set up in WHM.

Ensure it isn't disabled (unchecked) in the "disabled" feature list. If something is disabled in the "disabled" feature list, enabling it in any other feature list will not enable the feature.
