There hasnt been an update to Cpanel in weeks. I would understand this if there were no bugs to fix but whats going on with this? A few of my boxes are stuck on E133 and the others on R177. No updates, nothing. Also, we have requested 2 demo licenses for 2 new boxes last Friday. 5 emails later and no reply. So im stuck with being unable to install Cpanel till i get a reply from somebody. Knock knock! Hello, anyone home?

wow!

It seems they are busy on version 6 .However I think that paying near $100.00 month for not existant support is really hard to accept . With $100.00 month there should be an h24 chat with 10 people ready to answer ;) .
Instead with cpanel we have the support of a freeware product .
I hope to see great great news with cpanel6 especially for support .

Probably just cant afford to offer 24/7 support.

Conservativly speaking, 10 nocs offer cpanel with an average of 100 servers each. Say CP costs $30/server for a licence...thats only a meager $30,000 a month coming in. Once you factor in the overhead, the time taken by holding down other jobs to make ends meet, hell, we should be happy with the high quality, well documented, stable and upto date product we have got.

Personally, if someone was dumping 10k a month into my pocket, I'd rip out the useless, buggy, crud scripts and put in some usefuil stuff, oh and maybe get the bandwidth calculator to be accurate like the other control panels out there. (Oh, and maybe maintain the reseller stats for more than the current month so I can know who went over without having to check at 11PM on the last day of the month...or did I miss a feature somewhere?

heh.

Not sure why you guys are having support help problems.

I requested an eval and got it the same day.
A few days latter went in for an unexpected appendix removal and was out for about 2 weeks. The support team seemed to be vary understanding and I had a new license the next day.

Granted I am fairly new and I purchase my licenses directly from cPanel.net (and no I am not a distributor) but so far I have recieved timley responses.
