Survey; what the live chat and ticket system are you using?

    I am going to integrate the live chat and ticket system into user control panel. Just want to know which softwares are you using?

    Consulting Services

    Can any of this billing software also do bill for consulting services?

    I hear ModernBILL breaks easily with cPanel upgades. Has anyone had any trouble?

    Nope, I had 0 problems ever...

    ModernBill is a very stable software, never got brake nothing :D

    for support ticket inside the theme, if I let you define your support ticket form by your own, after your client submit the form it will send to a specific email you defined. Do any ticket software have any problem with this way? Do I need to let you define email message sent you? i heard some ticket system not just pipe an email but also filter the words, which software could do that?

    Also which location do you think it is the best location?
    - for live chat at the left side of every page.
    - for the ticket system, at the left side of every page or create new division

    any idea?

    PS: billing system integration will be later, due to the security issue, and I need to find out each system database schema.

    I have used several of the popular ticket systems (esupport, inverseflow,perldesk, and currently deskPRO).

    All of those will pipe an email. Some of them have a keyword function as well, they mainly go of the email address it was sent to, and the subject.

    As for the location, if you can replace the customer support link on the top of the header, that would be great. It is easy to see, and it will show on every page so that if they need support lets say on mysql, and they are on the main mysql page, they would not see the support link if it was on the main page only.

    I`ve found request tracker to be interesting as a consultancy billing system, but it`s currently not integrated with cpanel, so I`m looking into edgepanel

    Kayako's Live Response and eSupport works really great. eSupport integrates with Modernbill for more functionality so that is a ++ in my book.

    Modernbill & Kayako eSupport Integrate perfectly.

    As you will notice any support ticket launched in Modernbill automatically parses over to the kayako eSupport desk. Your clients can get support and manage their account within MB or through the support desk.

    I found the two scripts to work great hand in hand, and integrating the two takes a whole 20 seconds ;)

    All you have to do is spend 5 seconds editing one file, then doing a simple drag and drop via ftp and it is all integrated.

    The two companies have been working together to make sure their products offer easy and simple integration to the end users.
