I would like to see support for debian based systems, much more ppl use debian as server then SuSe even kernel.org is running debian.

For 4 years how long i was using debian
i found out that debian have best package menagment system and his stable relase is most stabile linux that i ever use.
I have server (public ftp & web) running on debian with 308 day\'s of uptime...

So cpanel for debian would be the best thing that can happens.

And if you need a clean box with 4.3 to work with, just let me know, and I\'ll set one up for you

I believe the freeBSD hosting servers will take off if you release NocSoft for it. But I`m wondering if NocSoft will allow much freedom when configuring the server manually (if you make a version for freeBSD : Maybe OT ;)).

Just look at the \"most uptime\" charts at netcraft and one can see what it is capable of; over 1000 days uptime!

Pleeeeease! Add FreeBSD support! For the sake of all that is holy, and if you\'re not religious, unholy.

FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Slackware and Debian are the must to have the supports of Cpanel, because they all are much powerful, stable, speed and secure. :)

:P FreeBSD support?
Yes please! I\'ve got all sorts of versions running on my networks, (4.1-4.4-release) I\'d love to be able to install Cpanel natively. :D

So is there any work being done on getting this working on FreeBSD or is this just a plan ?

I use FreeBSD, Debian and Redhat for hosting currently. All have their strengths and weaknesses. I actually prefer FreeBSD and Debian due to some of the security and upgradability features of both, over Redhat.

I could provide a beta box for either FreeBSD or Debian (or both) if needed. I\'m just starting to use cpanel, but I prefer it to about all of the other hosting administrators I use.

If I can be of any help, please let me know.

Terry
