Suspended account but DNS still works?

I have suspended an account that's using our nameservers / zone editor.
However it appears their account is still working fine even after a few days of being suspended.
Is there a way to "suspend" their use of our zone editor since the're using our nameservers without terminating the account?

Note: They're using A record/CNAME on our zone editor to point their site to a different server.

Just change the A ercord IP in edit DNS that's what we do. and how can they be using zone editor is it's suspended ?
I guess that's one way to do it,

They previously set the record before the account was suspended so it remains working even after suspension.

DNS still works for suspended accounts, so while the user wouldn't be able to access cPanel and their site may show the suspended page, DNS continues to function.

If you didn't want them to have that adjustment you could manually adjust their DNS zone after the account has been suspended, as @popeye mentions.

why don't cPanel replace the zone records with the suspended-zone-content automactically ? just like plesk do, keep the original DNS zone records and recove them when account unsuspended.

Currently that isn't something we do, but if you'd like to see behavior like that I'd recommend submitting a feature request using the link in my signature. Our development team reviews every one of those that gets submitted and other cPanel users will have a chance to vote for your request.
