I see this empty folder is created in my (/) directory.
    .cpt_hardlink_dir_a920e4ddc233afddc9fb53d26c392319/
What exactly is this? I know this has something to do with cPanel.

    Hello,

It's not suspicious file. You are using using openvz VPS and this files is created on your VM every time when your VM restart.

    Hello :)

Yes, as mentioned, this directory comes from the VPS software as opposed to cPanel/WHM. You should not have to remove it.

    Thank you.
