Swapping IP's to another server

    we are in the middle of migrating a populated server to new hardware and will be moving the IP's over as well.

    Currently the new server has a temporary IP assigned to it

    we will be adding the current IP's to the new server and re-assigning them back to everyone so that their dns remains the same.

    what needs to be done to change the broadcast of the server on the network to make it use the new IP's (the server will be losing the temporary ip and using the current main shared IP)

    i know theres a couple of files that need editing but i cant for the life of me recall what they are...

    /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

    not positive if your using eth0 but most likely you are
