Switch places of primary and addon domains

Remove the domain as a parked/addon domain, and go to whm -> modify an account, and change the primary domain. Doing this will not nuke any db's or files, and will update the corresponding subdomains for existing addon/parked domains.

What will happen to the old primary domain? Will it turn automatically into an addon domain, or I should add it after that?

Hello @Imago,

You'll need to manually add the previously configured primary domain name as a new addon domain using the cPanel >> Addon Domains feature after using WHM >> Modify An Account.
