I have a customer who I am moving from an older server to a newer one. He would like for me to create a symlink for him:

    From: /home/username/public_html to /home/username/web

Can someone with experience with symlinks give me the simple command to do this?

    Thanks so much.

actual directory should be first, link second.. if you want a link FROM /home/username/public_html TO the actual directory /home/username/web:

    ln -s /home/username/web /home/username/public_html
