Can someone tell me how I can create a Symlink that works across user domains/accounts? Right now I am only able to create symlinks that belong to the same user but I need to create a symlink domaina.com to domainb.com/newsite.

This produces a 500 error when running and the cpanel error log says the user id was a mis match.

Can someone advise what to do to get this working?

    Thanks in advance,
    - J

It really depends on what you are linking.

This can be done for supporting files if the permissions are correct

However, you are going to have major problems if you are trying to
execute a script across user accounts like that especially if you
are running SuPHP and / or SuExec.

Your best bet would be instead of symlinking to configure the
accounts to allow access to each other.
