Hello, I have a Sprint Samsung Epic 4G and a Sprint HTC Evo and are both android phones. Love them. But I do not like to sync all my private data with gMail, Yahoo, or Hotmail to be able to use with Web Calendar, Web mail, and Contact Manager.

So, I always use RoundCube, Squirrel Mail and such on my cPanel Server. Is there a php MySql solution that can sync my contacts, webmail, and calendar to do list stuff between my android phones and my apache web server... PRIVATELY. I find it creepy to be loading all my private, personal contacts, calendar and communications onto a giant company database.. Any Ideas?

    Thanks, WindEnergy7

Old thread but I'll reply anyways.

I use Roundcube and a I have a few contacts setup. I also have my Samsung Galaxy Nexus checking the same mailbox using IMAP. One thing I noticed is that those contacts entered in via webmail are available to me when composing a message on my phone. It auto completes as I'm typing the name/address. Not quite sure technically how it's doing it but it's priceless nonetheless.

I would love to see a solution to Sync calendars and contacts to Android, or other smartphones as well, including Blackberry and iPhone / iPad, Windows Mobile and Symbian OS

Has anyone been able to setup Android to Sync the contacts, calendars and notes from Horde, in cPanel yet?

Horde has syncML and it is installed in cPanel. I can find NO information on how to make it work. I've just spent the past hour trying.

I'm guessing at this point that the 'second' login button probably interferes somehow. Probably need a way to get to horde without the /webmail login screen?

It is already in the tool bar for Horde so I thought it was already built in? :)

Just not instructions on how to use it other than the Horde site and I don't know if it CAN be used because of the double login for Horde. My guess, and it is only that, is that is why it isn't working now. But, I'll put in a "feature request" to make an included feature a feature I guess.

Just did but I'm not sure it 'took'. I hit the post button and the screen reappeared with everything gone but the title. Search came up empty. sigh.....
