Whenever a client changes their password in cPanel, it only updates the password to access cPanel. If the client tries to FTP to their account, or access phpMyAdmin through cPanel, it doesn't accept the new password.

Can somebody tell me how to syncronize the password change so it will update the password for FTP and phpMyAdmin in real-time?

    Dear Jeff75,

I think it is not possible to syncronize password in cpanel. You can try by running the scripts
    /secripts/fixcommonproblems/
    /scripts/fixeverything.

Hope this will solve your issue. Otherwise try to set password from the command prompt.

    Regards,

Does this work for you? (e.g. When you change your password in cPanel, it will update your password for FTP, phpMyAdmin, and cPanel right away)

It seems kind of strange that I'd have to run "/scripts/ftpupdate" via cron every few minutes so client's don't have to keep entering their old password until 3 AM when cPanel reloads.
