    Hello,

I'm receiving an e-mail from my Cpanel every 5 minutes because my Syslogd failed to start. How can I reinstall syslogd?

    Thanks..

    Hello :)

Please try browsing to the following location in Web Host Manager:

"WHM >> Service Configuration >> Service Manager"

Check to see if you have both "syslogd" and "rsyslogd" enabled. You cannot run two logging daemons simultaneously. You need choose which you want: syslogd, or rsyslogd. In Service Manager only enable one of the daemons (services).

    Thank you.

    Hello,

"WHM >> Service Configuration >> Service Manager"

I checked , I can see "rsyslogd" enabled but syslogd not shown in service manager so I can't choose which I want , and I looked to service status section,
    syslogd is down
