    Hi,

Can any body tell me why [syslogd] get attached to all requests coming to apache.?

I added SecFilter "[syslogd]" into mod _security config file and then got the following. Hope this helps.

    ----------------------------------------
    GET /images/index2_r2_c1.jpg HTTP/1.1
    Accept: */*
    Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate
    Accept-Language: pt-br
    Connection: Keep-Alive
    Host: www.domainname.com
    If-Modified-Since: Sun, 22 Jan 2006 23:49:21 GMT
    If-None-Match: "bcd35e-3580-43d41a01"
    Referer: http://www.domainname.com
    User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1)
mod_security-message: Access denied with code 500. Pattern match "[syslogd]" at REQUEST_URI
    mod_security-action: 500

    HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
    Connection: close
    Transfer-Encoding: chunked
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
    --cd35bd50--

    ------------------------

For all images or any other file also I get the same error. No idea why..
    Please help me.
