CentOS 6.3 x64
WHM 11.36.1.5

Suddenly my system is no longer auto updating. I have attached the full output of a "yum update" command but here are the failing lines:

Code:
Running rpm_check_debug

I'm not sure why mod_ssl is suddenly complaining about a missing httpd package. My yum.conf shows that mod_ssl and httpd should be excluded anyway (and, I assume, updated by some WHM/cPanel script):

Code:
exclude=apache* bind-chroot courier* dovecot* exim* filesystem httpd* mod_ssl* mydns* mysql* nsd* php* proftpd* pure-ftpd* ruby* spamassassin* squirrelmail*

I've ran a "yum clean all" but I'm not exactly where to go from here. I just recently took over this server and I'm more of an apt-get guy instead of yum. I'm not sure what other logs/files to include to help troubleshoot this.

Thanks in advance for any help or pointers.

Hello :)

The primary RPM causing the problem here appears to be:

mod_wsgi-3.2-3.el6.x86_64

This is not a standard RPM that is installed on cPanel servers. Is it required on your system for a custom application? If not, you may want to consider removing the "mod_wsgi" package from your system.

Thank you.

Thanks for the response. I removed mod_wsgi and it successfully updated! The odd thing is that mod_wsgi appears to have been installed on 2011-08-07 and it never had any issues updating until recently. It looks like it was installed at the time the OS was loaded.

Code:
[email protected] [~]# yum history list mod_wsgi
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
ID | Login user | Date and time | Action(s) | Altered

history list
Oh well, I'm just glad it's updating again.

Thanks again!
