System restore fails Mariadb

I had to make a system restore from a backup because of a hard disk failure. I did that manually but the db is failing to start.
From the /var/lib/mysql/domain.err file i have the following

Hey there! Sorry to hear about the disk issues on the system. It might be helpful to know how the data was restored as it seems some of the system tables may be having an issue based on that output. Can you get me more details on the process you used to restore that data?
