while installing xmb forum, i get this error.
I find that the mysql tables are not created inside

the /var/lib/mysql/username_xmb4 directory.
I have been trying this with no success.

But there are other successful users inside the server.
Why is it not created ?

Any ideas??

I hope you receive an answer Ramirez as I also get the same error after installing. I am a newbie when it come to Linux, Unix, php, cgi and the like but having looked at the 'config.php' included in the latest version of XMB (v1.8 Partagium) it would appear that the cPanel installation is loading an empty file.

So if anyone can resolve the problem we would both be very grateful :p

Regards,

Paul

Is your first name Carl or Ramirez ?

Hi,
A new edge build came out recently fixing the bug with the xmb installer script,
if you already have the forum files copied open up the location in your browser and instead of calling index.php go to install.php instead and you should be able to setup the database there,
Thanks :)

problems again.....still not fixed ??

I still get the following error while I try to create xmb forum.
It seems the mysql database created is empty as well as the config.php file created in the forum directory.
