Temp FTP and phpMyAdmin access for Developer?

Dear all,

a user has addressed me with a question on how to provide access to ftp and phpmyadmin to developers without providing access to cPanel
not talking about creating additional ftp account , but main ftp of the user
is there a way?

In order to provide access to the account via FTP but not cPanel you would have to create an additional FTP user. The FTP user created by default with the account (the same name as the primary user) uses the same password as the account and thus would allow access to the cPanel account.
